Rose Mary Johnson Jennings Junior High School (RJJJHS) "Home of the PRIDE Warriors" serves all 7th and 8th graders in the Jennings School District. We are the educational hub for 436 scholars! We look forward to continued service to the Jennings community and families!
History of Jennings School District
Jennings School District (JSD) has a long and distinguished history dating back to 1871. JSD serves over 3,000 students in three small townships in Saint Louis, MO, including Jennings, Country Club Hills, and Flordell Hills, with a total population of approximately 20,000. The district operates five elementary schools: Fairview Primary, Fairview Intermediate, Northview Elementary, Woodland Elementary, and Hanrahan Elementary; one junior high school, Rose Mary Johnson Junior High, and one high school, Jennings Senior High. JSD also operates Jennings Educational Training School (JETS), an alternative program whose goal is to inspire academic excellence and civic responsibility.
The Jennings School District has won two national awards for
its effective use of instructional technology and has been recognized
statewide as a leader in computers in the classroom. Jennings School District engages in the learning process with honesty, creativity, dedication, and respect. Furthering seeking to cultivate an atmosphere of freedom and trust in a safe and nurturing environment.
